Remembering the All American Girls- Professional Softball League and the All-American Girls Baseball League means remembering the best female runners, short-stops, coaches and yes pitchers. Women played a heavy role in baseball throughout 40-s because of the war and made tremendous strides in their efforts.

Top Women’s Baseball Players In The 1990′s.
Throughout the 1980′s and 1990′s, there were many attempts to organize professional women’s basketball teams and every attempt failed until the Women’s National Basketball Association, the WNBA, was formed in 1996 and starting playing in 1997.
During the 1980′s and the 1990′s, there were a few dominant NCAA, or woman’s college basketball teams, with many outstanding players, but the women stars that played on the U.S. Olympic Women’s Basketball team, 8-0 in the 1996 games, were the dominant stars of the 1990′s.
