Get some games: There are plenty of televised WNBA games, believe it or not, so check your local directv specials to see who carries what. If you start watching with your daughter she’ll develop favorites which will encourage her love.
Get a goal: No, a REAL basketball goal. Put one up above the garage so your girl can practice anytime she wants – she’ll get better accuracy and it will encourage her to invite friends over to play, a win win since you’ll be able to keep tabs on them easily.
Get her signed up: If there’s a league or even a school team you think she can join, pursue it. Encourage her to give her all at practice and go to each and every game you can. If she sees you care, she’ll care more and it will help your family bond.
